a walk through wetlands

Not so long ago, myself and my best friend Holly went for a casual walk/photo adventure through the mangroves near my house. It has such an eery, mysterious but beautiful feel in there. I'm not sure if the eeriness is because someone nearly got kidnapped in there once or because it's virtually empty or because it rarely gets sunlight in there. Either way.. it's kinda great that it's dark because when the sunlight does pull through it is a photographic advantage to all!

chac talent quest

When I was asked to take photos of the school talent quest a month ago, I thought it would get a bit tedious and boring, but surprisingly I enjoyed watching the humiliation and glory of the talent quest through my lense. Here's a few photos from it..

my vans smell of coffee

I made the terrible mistake of wearing my vans to work the past few months. They now permanently smell like coffee and have a brown tinge to them.

Ah, this night was such an adventure. We trekked from our friend's house in Manly back to home in Wynnum, climbing fences to cross train tracks, stealing letter boxes and smashing light bulbs along the way. All of course was influenced by the crazy man in the blue suit..

afternoons at the bayside

I love days where nothing is really planned but it just seems to fall in place anyway. This was one of these days. We never all planned to really meet up but ended up doing so, went op shopping, got some free food from kris at the bakery, played monopoly and listened to an old so fresh album then went riding near the water on my old bikes.

Whoot! Camera is back in action and boy did it get a work out this weekend! The pics above were from a very tall man's gathering on friday night. It was a pretty gnarly night with a lot of slipping on goon, table dancing and crump off's!

minor break

Unfortunately my lens has decided to impromptu fuck itself up and I have to pay 140 dollars for her to work again, so I won't be posting anything new on here to at least the weekend.. But do not stress because I'm going to link you to a far better blog than this one will ever be and you can loose yourself in his photographs here

we missed sunset

This afternoon senior hickling, red leader and myself rode up to the top of our hill at the speed of light to try and capture the last of the sunset.. We failed, but I took some cool pics of them on bikes anyway! :D
